My Sweet Zinnia

I've been wanting to take my girl out in the snow and get some pretty snowy pictures! Today in the calm before the storm was a beautiful time. There were gorgeous tiny snowflakes falling and it wasn't too cold. We had a few minutes of fun and then ran back into the house to warm up by the fire!

Ahhh... the most beautiful eyes in the world!

Project 52

I'm happy to be participating in Paint the Moon's Project 52. Every week they post some themes for inspiration and you post your photos on their flickr group. It's so nice to have something like this this time of year. Gets the juices flowing and makes me get out and experiment when I'm not on a shoot.

So last week was my first week participating. The theme was "Abandoned" and here is my entry.

Stay tuned for this week's photo- "Blessings"!

And thanks for stopping by!!!

My Bear

Meet my "Bear". Aptly nicknamed before birth. Before any of us knew of his bear paw like feet and his affinity for anything wild. His Dad actually wanted to name him Bear, we compromised on it and it has become a lasting nickname. I think it will probably follow him all his life!

Oh did I mention that he's also EXTREMELY handsome? Just sayin'...

Also! I would be soooooo appreciative if you wouldn't mind voting for my blog makeover by
Sliced Design, Aptitiv and Green Banana SEO! Thank you! And feel free to vote as much and as often as you can- there's no limit!

Winter Wonderland!

"Nobody can be uncheered with a balloon" ~ Winnie the Pooh

The winds have welcomed you with softness,
The sun has greeted you with it's warm hands,
You have flown so high and so well,
That God has joined you in laughter,
And set you back gently into
The loving arms of Mother Earth.
